Well, started to post the market magnets when I realized tomorrow is Dec 1 and I thought.... wow, its December already. Near my SI anniversary date. Cool A little reflection on the year. Jan 1st 98 I was still working the (don't laugh) wade cook system. Did not take long to realize the pitfalls his lack of serious TA and FA brought. I do recognize him as giving the motivation to become a full time trader, but that is where the recognition of positive change ends. Lurking around SI I found a little pick o the week thread. Seemed like lots of quality posters. Doug R, the amigos, Jim Strauss... made some good money on the picks though still quite in the dark on analysis. Also found a few other solid threads, Stock Attack, Market Gems, TSO, TATRADER GIZZARDS, Three amigos... Chris, Lastshadow, Don Sew, TA will always be on my read list This guy, Doug, he does TA seminars. Cool, I better check this out. Myrtle Beach? Sweet my neck of the woods. Transformation begins. Lights turned on shortly after the seminar. No longer would I be held hostage to the market. Now it is just a matter of taking the bull by the horns. Feels so good.... Well, magnets popped out of my head a few months later and lessons were learned over the summer regarding stop losses. Overall I can honestly say it has been one hell of a great year. thanks to all who contribute ht david
