Bruce, I agree with you . This is the P&F thread and that should be the central focus. Correct me if I'm wrong , but I thought Jerry's intent was to organize the vast internet selection out there to try to come up with the best candidates to do P&F work on . For example , NAVR was a Quadruple Top before it broke out - according to Tom in his book , an extremly rare pattern. SPYG was a triple top. Wouldn't it be useful if there was someone who could monitor this group to find these valuable patterns ? And EGGS ??? Jan had it nailed with her P&F workup . That was what I was looking for. I may have been remiss in bringing these things up , because I feel I'm the P&F novice in the group here.. it would be silly to me to be throwing out my P&F ideas to the experts on this thread, like yourself,Jan, Preston, Paul V, Eric and several others... but I hope that I can fill in in other ways to perhaps organize data for them. In the future, I'll try to tie my P&F thoughts to a post, before I post. This is a wonderful thread - the best on the net - I'm sure none of us would want to see it lose it's focus. Thank you for all the great work you've done BTW... I do enjoy reading your posts. Bev

Hi Bruce, I hear what you're saying. Basically, we're just trying to compile a list, and from that list to choose stocks to do the P&F research. I don't want to fade from P&F, there are other threads to go to for hype, etc. We are focusing on the 'net stocks for the list, just cause it's kinda fun while things are so hot. But I don't want to get away from the basics, either! I've learned too much from P&F to let that happen. Jo :-)

Morning Bruce... yes my friend this IS the P&F thread for sure... however i feel when a sector is exploding to heights none of us has EVER seen before, we here need to explore the possibilities using P&F!!!!! My EGGS trade, because of an ALERT from Janie, was one of the best trades i made all year Bruce...it signaled an RS turned POS ALERT!!!.. in less time than a blink of an eye, WOOOOOOSH! it's 31 3/4????????? from 12 5/8ths....incredible... so what we are trying to do...is put together an internet portfolio that you, Jan & Wizzie can dive into and come up with the STICKOUT SAFE PLAYS!!!!!, i'm also looking at those stocks that trade options.. can you imagine buying an option for 1 1/2 & selling it 14 days later for 16!!!!!!!!! that's SIXTEEN!!!!!! Bruce i don't buy 1 or 2 options!!!! so my learned friend, this is how we can make some very nice profits ferreting out these excellent plays... we need your support here...

Bruce, on the DWA charts on the right side are the inscriptions TOP, MED and BOT. I've looked but have found no explanation as to how these points are calculated. Could you, please, explain? QNTM would be a good example, as it just broke a double top and I'm holding it. Gottfried I agree with you this thread has turned into a momentum investing forum. There are a bunch of threads for that purpose already and I think the discussion of internet stocks should be taken there. Or someone start a "momentum stock PnF" thread.

Afternoon Bruce and All.... Not wanting to step on any toes, so I'll step softly or at least try to!!!!! I firmly believe this thread is one of the best if not the best on SI... Why is this...I believe this is so because of the open forum used to look at differing ideas through a P&F basis... Anything can be looked at on a supply and demand basis, and although some of the areas that some look at here are not of interest to me personally, they do follow by looking at them using P&F... Now having just said that, I will admit that I for one have not played the Internuts, yet...but have seen that P&F can be used to make good decisions for buying and selling these stocks... I believe that making money is one of the reasons we have all gravitated to this sight and thus any area or scan used to find stocks to look at under a P&F basis is just fine by me. There are some things done that I'm not interested in from time to time, but overall I would not like to start removing things that one or the other does not care for personally as that is part of the great thing about this thread... I hope that I have not stepped on any toes, some have PMed me saying that they felt bad about this or that and would not be contributing any more.... I have ask that they please continue to add where ever and when ever they can as it broadens all of our views. Hope Everyone is having a Great Weekend, Toe Stepper Oner, Preston
