Sue you broker is protecting their butt, with good reason also, what that is saying is to NEVER USE A MARKET ORDER for any of these crazy stocks unless you want to sell and run as fast as possible I only used limit orders for all my trades last week, and was surprised to get very fast fills both on the buy and the sell but in a few cases had to bid higher than the quote and sell lower than the bid my best story was on one of my AMENW trades yesterday put in a limit sell at 6 1/2 when it was running up fast it filled at 9 1/2!!! shows you just how out of control the market makers are right now on thinly traded stocks that are getting huge fast volume
