This news release sounds very encouraging. I love how they are branching out into the area where the profits are really going to be made in the near future. In my opinion I think that this is great and management should be congratulated.

EDMONTON, January 18, 1999 - Neil J. Magrath, President of D.C. Corrosion
Corporation is pleased to announce today that the Corporation has signed a
definitive purchase agreement with Total Telcom Ltd. and It's wholly owned
subsidiary Total Telcom (US) Ltd. This strategic acquisition solidifies
management's commitment to lessen the corporation's dependency on the Oil &
Gas industry for revenues.

Total provides a wide range of telecommunications activities including
system design, detail engineering, project management, installation and
maintenance of systems for voice, data, video and telemetry and is
positioned to take advantage of the "information superhighway" explosive
growth through the use and deployment of fiber-optics.

In addition to complementing the Corporation's existing high-tech
communication division of ROM Communications, present synergies with our
existing corporate skill set exists with respect to engineering, project
management, material procurement and construction services.

Total Telcom will add six million in revenue and seventy-five (75)
employees to the Corporation through eight operating centers across North
America including Grand Prairie, Crossfield, Seattle, San Jose, Sacramento,
Mountain Home and St. Louis.

The purchase is to be facilitated entirely through the issuance of 2.5
million treasury shares of the Corporation and as such is subject to
regulatory review and approval.
