We haven't looked into a T1 line since that is more expensive than our ISDN and BMI cable data. BMI cable data is $60/month and the ISDN is $60/month. When the ISDN was installed, it was in addition to existing phone line so now we have two voice lines and one data line. The ISDN comes with a voice and data line. Your ISP probably would not allow 2 connections without additional charges. But with the ISDN line, I have the data connection via the ISP and also two voice connections.

Also, hubby has a new Dell Latitude and no such option as installing a video card is available. The notebooks are expensive and their physical size currently doesn't support adding cards for auxiliary functions.
