Tasty Fries, Inc. Demonstrates French Fry Machine At State Capital of New Hampshire
CONCORD, N.H.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 1998--Tasty Fries (OTC BB:TFRY), the company that has developed and perfected the patented state-of-the-art robotic vending machine that dispenses freshly-cooked hot, crisp and tasty French fries within 90 seconds, announced Monday that it will locate a support headquarters and contract manufacturing services early next year, bringing at least 100 new jobs to the Granite State.

Company President Edward Kelly made the announcement at a press conference held at the State House in Concord. During the press conference, the company demonstrated the French fry vending machine and offered samples to those in attendance.

The reaction to the machine and taste of the fries was overwhelming. Governor Jeanne Shaheen stated, ''We are extremely pleased that Tasty Fries has chosen to come to New Hampshire. It is a tribute to our business-friendly environment, our positive tax structure and, of course, our outstanding quality of life. The growth of this kind of innovative company will generate many high-quality jobs, both at Tasty Fries and the firms and suppliers that will be involved in building the vending machines.''

Edward C. Kelly, President and CEO of Tasty Fries, Inc. stated, ''Tasty Fries began a search for a location where all the components necessary to build, service and support such a machine would be available. We were very impressed by the 'can do' attitude we found in New Hampshire. Everything we need is available and we found the people we met ready to do business. Especially exciting was the cooperation of state government, something we have not found elsewhere.''

According to Kelly, the decision to locate in New Hampshire was partially due to the availability of qualified companies capable of supplying the subassemblies that makeup the Tasty Fries machine.

In January, the Department of Resources and Economic Development's Procurement Technical Assistance Program will work with Tasty Fries to provide New Hampshire companies with the opportunity to view the vending machine and bid on producing one or more of the machine's 15 subassemblies.
