THE NEXT BAMM?? One reason why BAMM was so explosive is that it had
revenues of $19.53 per share, and was selling BELOW REVENUES. ALLOU
HEALTH & BEAUTY (ALU- 8 7/8 BID) owns THE FRAGRANCE COUNTER
(www.fragrancecounter.com), the leading ON-LINE retailer of designer fragrances and
through a sister site, THE COSMETICS COUNTER (www.cosmeticscounter.com),
consumers can purchase a selection of over 800 brand-name cosmetic products. ALU
has revenues of approx. $300 million!! which translates to revenues per share of $54.77
per share, but ALU is presently only $8.87 BID. ALU's wholly owned subsidiary, THE
FRAGRANCE COUNTER, has EXCLUSIVE agreements with AOL, YAHOO,
EXCITE AND LYCOS, and ALU plans to aggressively expand its on-line sales of
designer fragrances and cosmetics. Like BAMM, ALU is presently selling at a very low
valuation and has trailing EPS of approximately $0.50 !! IMO, I wouldn't be surprised if
ALU decided to sell a stake in THE FRAGRANCE COUNTER and/or THE
COSMETICS COUNTER through IPO offerings.
