<<I hope you are right but have a different feeling,,, the only reason the NAS is going up is the NETS,,, when they fall they may take the mkt with it. As DELL keeps falling where will it be if the mkt overal goes down???>>

John,

It is my opinion that when this happens, unless it is due to an overall market decline such as October 1997 and last summer, the opposite of what you are concerned about will happen....Dell, being the quality stock it is, will hold its value well and may even appreciate some when the internet stocks reach their peak. There has been no change in the Dell fundamentals that I am aware of. My suggestion to you if you are in for the long term is to hang in there until the end of January when we approach earnings reporting time.

I have seen some thoughts on this thread that Dell will be affected by competetion from other internet sites selling computers, etc. on the Web. Remember.....THEY CANNOT SELL A NEW DELL COMPUTER ON THEIR SITE!

These comments are my own opinion and, of course could be dead wrong. Good luck to you.
