That is a good, hard question. When to sell? I do believe this and other Internet stocks will soar on Monday, possibly more on Tuesday. This is my potential short term exit strategy: Sell enough MALL on late Monday afternoon to at least recoup my initial investment, some profit, and then let the rest ride. Same for NAVR. What if the UBID IPO bombs, or does not go as high as people think it should. That will rapidly bring down the price of MALL. The odds of that happening are probably small, but anything is possible. I have a business trip to fly out to near the end of the week and will not be able to consistently monitor my stocks. I view that as unacceptable in this market, with rapid up and down moves. Hence, my personal strategy to at least lock in some profit before I leave, assuming the market roars tomorrow. Let me tell you a little story that prompts this strategy. A few years ago I was way long on a few great small tech stocks. SDTI, WSTL USRX and others were booming. I was making more money than I knew what to do with. The flaw was not locking in profit. I got crushed in the last few years of a major bear market for small tech stocks and never rotated my profit into other sectors. I swore I would never do that again. Let your own logic be your guide, but I will be sweating in my shoes all the time my I-net stocks rise. That is because I know how quickly things can end when you think they never will. As for long term exit strategy, there is only short term in my view about this market. Let the trend guide you. If things turn I am going to place all my I-net stocks into cash. Hal
