Although I admire your strategy, it is tough to convince me buy and hold is appropriate for many issues, including DELL. Playing the net stocks with confidence IS a talent. Well, it seems pretty easy but there are very few who bought AMZN for example when it was 30 and still own it.

I don't trust any stock. If DELL goes on sale, I will be there. I waited and bought CSCO at 43 and 41 5/8. Do I want it passed on to my kid's kids?? Heck no.

Timing is not a perfect science. No one can time the market perfectly BUT, I work very hard to avoid the big hit while losing out on some of those long run-ups. Sometimes avoiding the big loss is more important than making a large sum.

I see DELL hitting the low 50's then rallying to years end then a market pullback in late January. This next pullback will be ugly for the net's!!!
