True, but the internet is really just an extension of the internet. Or, maybe it is the other way around. It all depends on how you look at it. But, from a technical point of view, the internet and ethernet are all related. As the internet grows, so does the demand for ethernet, and vice-versa. Ethernet is great, and essential, for sharing files, printers, etc. in the corporate (or home environment, for that matter), but many companies use ethernet to support internet access. As an oversimplified example, it is much cheaper and more efficient to put in an ethernet within a company that is connected to the internet to allow all employees access to the internet. The only other alternative would be to install dedicated phone lines and modems at each employees desk. I even have an ethernet setup in my home so that I can not only share printers and disk drives between my various computers, but so that I can easily share my internet connection among my computers once I get a high speed connection. Actually, I was kidding Tim, to a certain degree, but I do believe that at least some of COMS success is due to the success of the internet. I think it is an excellent company and an excellent choice, and the important thing is that it will prosper whether the "flash in the pan" internet stocks prosper or not, but the better the "internet" does, the better COMS will do. Actually, I would not be too suprised to see COMS buy someone to get even more directly involved in the actual internet end of things by buying a router or fiber or ATM type company. Then, they would truly be able to supply the internet (an overgrown ethernet), like they are now virtually synonymous with ethernet.
