I described MicroOS to ByteMate as NCII does in its news releases and I got this response:

"Dear Walter,

It sounds like you are talking about an alternative sound processor, plus a.) using more compression, or b.) sampling sound less frequently, or c.) using less bits per sample. I am interested and please send more information on what this is about. Putting 18 minutes instead of 12 minutes on a MB is not necessarily good. If it compromises sound quality, by ear or with specialized applications such as speech recognition, it is probably not for us. You can email or postal mail the information. Thank you for your interest and help.

Sincerely,

Clay

So, in response I sent them links to NCII's patents on the U.S. Patent and Trademarks web page. I also provided a like to NCII's web page.

I think the patents explain NCII's product capabilities much better than NCII's press releases.
