"FROM THE NATIONAL POST SATURDAY NOV 28TH EDITION.

" Paul Godin, Bid.com's chief executive, said last week the company had
received an unsolicited invitation from Nasdaq to explore the possibility of
listing on the exchange. He said yesterday he feels Nasdaq has an eye to
encouraging IPOs from rising stars in the internet sector and his company
will consider seeking listing, probably at the end of first-quarter 1999. Mr.
Godin said he did not want the company to be lost in the rush of IPOs
expected at the start of the year. He said Bid.com has plenty of cash on hand
from prior financing, but wants the profile a Nasdaq listing affords. "
the report is long--but all opinions are gratefully welcome
