and then some folks would think that we have now just reached confirmation of the 9th wave UP from the late 1994 lows of the Dow Jones Industrials on this page.

Tom : I think gold has already broken out of the down-channel and, if anything, is now going sideways.

I also believe that $280 for POG and 60 for XAU are the long-term support levels. So, I don't anticipate the values of which you speak.

BTW, doom and gloomers are not supposed to spread misery about gold and gold shares --- only about the equity market and/or the economy. Please remember in future. You don't want to upset any of the many very sensitive viewers some of whom are banking on a 1929 scenario happening before Christmas.
