GOLD vs OSX
found this on yahoo by Mux4

" Gold stocks bottomed and have made a decent recovery. At the height of world bank selling, nobody
wanted gold stocks, and yet even at their 52 week lows, their p/b and p/s ratios stayed above
(sometimes way above) 1.FGII's p/b is up there, but alot of the drillers and service stocks have p/b's
around 1. So if gold stocks never ventured below book, shouldn't we expect the service/drillers to
bottom out SOON?? Even if oil moves toward 10$? I mean, enough is enough.Plus, are the early bird
wash sales over now? Who waits till late Dec.? Santa, please post this on the strictly drilling board".

Gold stocks did indeed stage a major rally last summer, but only after a sickening plunge. With every conceivable piece of bad news re: the drillers now poublic knowledge, I agree we will trough very soon. But OSX could easily drop another 5-10% before the turn.
