I don't think moving to NYSE will make any difference. But I don't know much about such matters...

My only experience with a stock I have owned moving to the NYSE was when THRX moved to the NYSE and became TGX. That stock hit an air pocket and has been down some 30% from its NASDAQ price since. It almost seems that the stock is just to small to stand out in the NYSE crowd.

Another very small co I own is TFS. It is on the NYSE. The trading in the stock has been very suspect a number of times over the past eighteen months ... again, I do not think the volume in that stock warrants the NYSE specialists time and attention required to really maintain an orderly market.

FGII has some decent daily volume and should do better.
