Please fill be in on bandwidth and cable tv and just how MSFT will get in on this!!

They have lots of money to buy the products and or copy them.
The reason they want in on this is because of the following.

MS claim to fame is not through best product but controlling the hardware and software developers which in turns forces the average Joe to buy MS products.

MS knows if the average Joe doesn't have to use its OS they will loss control of the game and either force them to develop good products or lose market share.

With the internet and Java this has put MS in a position of losing control of their customers.

The internet leaves MS with only two ways to control the customers.

1. The pipes which they are putting money into a bunch of satellites and are working with other Networking companies.

2. The browsers which runs Java.
MS has to try and fragment Java so they can try and take control of it but so far they have failed.
They gave IE away but Netscape followed.
Now they are screwing Webtv customers with its latest move on trying to fragment Java when it plans on not supporting Java in its latest Webtv box. If the average consumer ever figures this out MS could be in trouble with its Webtv.
This is why I think Sun wants in with Netscape and AOL to try and prevent MS from prevent the use of Java as it was intended to be used for.

So at the end of the day if MS could have taken Netscape out they would once again controlled the customers by not supporting Java as they have just done to Webtv and the average customer would be stuck with below average software.

With this kind of tactics from MS the DOJ has to break up MS.
