Craig,

You get a PCMCIA adaptor free with a SanDisk CF card purchase. I am surprised people are actually charging for them. Also, the ImageMate parallel port pass through CF reader now sells for under $50. I am more concerned about PC accessibity issues than laptop connections. CF connectivity with laptops is a non-issue at this point.
