These holes were very shallow between 5 and 11 meters. The snowy owl went 12 m into the kimberlite.

All I know is that they were very short holes as they used
De-beers Min RIG to drill them.I seen that Rig In Calgary at Foremost
Industries before they sent it to the NWT
