GO Network will be owned by INFOSEEK and Disney owns 43% of INFOSEEK. The entire GO network will run via INFOSEEK and Starwave Technologies(Starwave is owned by SEEK). The GO.COM preview release will happen before Christmas. The WEBTV deal provides additional eyeballs and revenue stream to the SEEK network. The Quando acquisition will provide complete e-commerce utilities to network users such as personal shoppers to find the best price among e-retailers.

SEEK currently has a market cap of less than 1.2billion compared to XCIT's 2.6b and LCOS 2.6b. The GO.NETWORK will have the third largest audience behind AOL and YHOO. DISNEY is said to be going after AOL's number one spot. Currently, AOL's market cap exceeds 37b to SEEK's less than 1.2b cap. Once the network is launched and the DISNEY machine gets going on BRAND AWARENESS for the new NETWORK, you will never see SEEK in the 30's, 40's, or 50's again!!!

Big Power Play!!

Hi Rocky:Thanks. DIS/GO:We have had quite a discussion on this thread about Disney,Infoseek,Go Network. I think we now have it clarified as you relate that DIS is THE MAN in this whole venture. It will be interesting to see when DIS starts to move in the market as a result of this venture. Thanks for your help in this clarification.
