Bearcat / Cincinati Upset

I'm also a hoops nut - especially college. Now I know the source for your nickname. I'm an avid fan of the Syracuse Orangemen. They are about a 45 minute drive from here.

For you Canadians, I just want to mention Doug Flutie and the Buffalo Bills. They had a non-win yesterday ---- not a loss. Umpire and referee wins the game for New England. If there was ever a need for instant replay - this was it.

Fourth down and seconds remaining, long pass is completed when receiver was clearly out of bounds. That got New England close enough to attempt a Hail Mary pass. Referee calls pass interference and ball is put on one yard line. Ref said receiver was pushed from behind. The announcer speaks up and says it was a correct call. I don't think so. The receivers body did not move forward one inch as he attempted to catch the pass. Of course, New England gets one more play with time expired and win the ball game. What an injustice. Two consecutive bad calls could result in lost revenue of double digit millions of dollars for Buffalo. What a shame. The officials should feel the heat --- from the Lost Hills fire.
