Robert : I hope you are correct but I have me doots.

In SAf, the total reorganization in the gold mining industry has ensured that the majority of production can be maintained down to a POG of $200-250. The big companies have virtually given away all their economically marginal shafts in their endeavour to lower costs.

Meanwhile "magicians", like Messrs Kebble (of Randgold, DRD and JCI Gold etc), claim to be able to INCREASE production at LOWER costs from these marginal shafts which they bought for a song. How it's done is beyond me but that's their story. Believe it or not!

So, if Messrs Kebble and Co get their fingers into Oz, as they are trying to do, expect gold production to RISE there too!!
