SOFTWARE SAVY???

Hi Ken, used you post, but a question to anyone. Re: explorer 5.0, win95.
I just dumped win98 cause it was like a visit to the iceage...constant freeze ups. I miss the feature where passwords are remembered though. Is this a feature of win98? Isn't it written into exporer 5.0? I get the dialouge box to "remember login and password", but it doesn't do it. It used to with win98 and explorer 4.01. Anyone know where that info is stored? Can I open the file and imput it manually? Also I have the older win95 and winsock doesn't remember login and pass, and dial up automatically. These are small problems but a bit frustrating. I recall a fix for winsock by creating a client for microsoft networks, but don't remember it completely.*S* Windose library is pretty worthless(or I don't know where to look). Any info appreciated.

Ken, Like Jim Cramer, I will get my lawyers busy if you ever accuse me of being nice again. <G>

I always look at investment income at insurance cos. as that was my bailiwick at The St. Paul. Most firms have small underwriting losses, but make it up with investment income, as you well know. But rarely do I see any discussion in depth of this area of net income generation by analysts. Weird. I know that my dividend capture program was adding major pizzazz to The St. Paul's bottom line, but of all the analysts who covered the co., guess how many ever talked to me? Zero. They did talk to the CFO, and he was a smart guy. But, when I was an analyst, I'd want to know where all this dividend income was coming from.
