Voltaire, thank you for your detailed response... I might be somewhat like you... I don't make a lot of analysis, I just look at the numbers and see what are they telling me...a bit more gambling than investing I guess... however, you have a MUCH better view.... anyway, I do value your opinion, and I have been watching DELL and AOL amongst others for a while... and from what I see, I tend to agree with you...AOL is inching away, and I bought some before the split and some after... and will buy more every now and then... will make it my core holding.

i feel that DELL will start to inch away soon, but don't know when it will all start again and if it will ever repeat past performance... BTW, when it hit 70s before earnings, my broker, Bear Stearns, called me and told me that the word in the street is that DELL will miss it's numbers for the first time and that its past performance is over...and asked me if I wanted to hold or sell... I held, only to sell later at 64...

Now for AMZN YHOO and BAMM... I feel that AMZN still has another run to 245 or 250 before splitting.

YHOO also will run when a split is announced, which I feel could be as early as tomorrow... someone on the YHOO thread thinks that it won't be a smart idea to announce any split before a plan to acquire or merge with another business to strengthen its position after the AOL/NSCP acquisition... don't know about that...

now BAMM, I want to buy some shares, but very very hesitant to do so considering it's run on Friday, and the big swings it had... I would truly appreciate an update, from your porch, Monday morning... I am inclined to buy on the open, but still thinking about it...my broker have been warning me against Internet stocks every time I place an order... although they all have proven good...

Voltaire, thanks again, and looking forward to your thoughts on all this...

Best Regards
Amein

<<< The major moves in the Market and Stocks are MANIPULATED by the MM. >>>
Great post on the Net stocks.
This is a great stampede to the gold fields of internet commerce.
Very unsettling to us old hands desiring to establish positions in
solid companies seeking steady 20%+ growth and returns thru Dell, Csco, Intc, msft.
Young people with replaceable income or those with surplus cash may find it worthwhile to take major risks on new companies for
huge gains.
I find it very interesting and profitable to start with the use of only around 5% of available funds, since a 3x or 6x makes the new Web stocks soon represent 15 or 30% of entire portfolio.
Just call me chicken if you wish(Bak-bak-ba gack).
It certainly looks like a solid week ahead...
