Christine, I can only speak for myself, not for men in general, but I gave up looking at girlie magazines a long time ago. My imagination can do much, much, better. What always strikes me as odd about the way women see celebrities is that the image is usually so far from the reality. I suspect that everyone really knows this, but most would rather not accept it. If you were ever around these people, with their incessant whining, their egos (simultaneously gargantuan and appallingly fragile), and their unbearable pettiness, you would never look at an actor the same way again. I doubt that rock stars are much different. Adulation is definitely bad for the psyche. Steve
