True, but TVs, computers, radios, camcorders, etc, are all much cheaper and better quality than a decade ago.

Richard, the cost of Medicine, that no-doubt inflated to the absurd point is a very much deliberate process...The biggest employer in just about every mid-size Town in USA is a Hospital...More, all technology consumption that Medicine provided account for the very fact that Medicine constitute 7% of the Economy...when that is so "BIG" no Town
can afford to undermine it...In reality the "thesis" that over 1/2 of medical expenditures occur in last 2 years of life (undoubtedly true and likely higher) is also account for full-employment....the only thing which is bigger and just as waistful is Govern/War machine...but scratch those two and you may find yourself in dark ages..The only problem is that we are spending money that are not ours ..our children's..But that how every great society ended-up...
