I don't remember where we drank and caroused, but no offense to
GS, "there was some there there". at least we thought so..

As to Tom Robbins, I liked his first stuff. Roadside, Still Life
and Cowgirls, then it was down hill,. I couldn't get thru Jitterbug
Perfume. When I heard they were making a movie of Cowgirls, I couldn't wait, with my ranch background.. We went immediatly against
terrible reviews.. but what the hell, you can't lose with Uma Thurman.

Now I hear the "The Monkey Wrench Gang" movie will be released next year with Woody Harrelson, he's one of our favorites, So can't wait,

Yes my Dad didn't buy the company line but if somebody had to be run into town 30 miles away, he's the guy they came to see..He
introduced me to reading, We always had the Spokane paper, albeit
two days late and according to Harry Truman, "the worst God Damn
paper in the country" or something like that. True and various
other mags. My grandma had the Finnish paper sent over from Finland,
THAT WAS LATE, We visited up there in the 80's on time and he had
a subscription to Mother Jones..

Anyway I'm going to town to shop..My wife asked me what I wanted for Xmas, I said turquiose and silver, a new pair of cowboy boots
and a Mexican wool vest..
