Joseph G., I know you think I am a smart-a**, but this is a sincere question, it is my understanding that Cisco has a semi-monopoly on certain telecom technology that I don't pretend to understand. I will further humble myself and say that it is my further understanding that Cisco is in an elite minority of companies that are leaders in their industries, and that Lucent and Intel are leaders in theirs. I perceive that their valuations are quite high. I steel myself to anticipated jeers of derision. Nevertheless, I ask, humbly, Joseph G., what would possess you to short them at this point in time?
