It may be tax loss selling. There are plenty of people who bought in a lot higher than IOM's current price. If you have big internet stock profits you would look to sell whatever you may be holding at a loss for the tax benefit to use against market gains.

Len,

The price drop might have something to do with the possible sale of SyQuest assets: who buys what and for how much.

The bearish case could be that one of Iomega's competitors (Imation, Sony) might be the purchaser. Another bearish case is that Iomega is the purchaser and might have paid too much.
