Hi Everyone, I have received numerous requests from my E-Mail group to bring the following letter that I sent out this morning over here to SI. Before doing so I would like to post the following information. I just spoke with Bruce Galpeer and he wanted to let everyone know that he has been experiencing hard drive problems and thus has not been able to post. He hopes to be back up and running within a few days. COPY OF MORNING E-MAIL TO FOLLOW: Good Morning Everyone, I spent most of my weekend talking to many long-term shareholders. During this long "quiet period" I would venture to say that we all have been speculating as to what could be involved in regards to the QP. The people that I talk to on a regular basis have probably come up with at least 40 or 50 different scenarios in regards to what might be taking place. The only thing that we all agree on is the fact that whatever is happening will be the single most important news in the history of DCI. We also agree that this is NOT the final sale of the company but will be a vital precursor to that end. I believe that whatever comes out in the form of a release will put a much higher valuation on our company and put Mr. Murphy in a much stronger position to negotiate with those companies that are pursuing us. I can still remember a statement that Mr. Murphy made to me when I spoke to him the day that they announced the beginning of the QP. He had issued an edict to all his employees, including his two sons, that anyone discussing or alluding to anything concerning the QP would immediately be terminated. If you knew Joe Murphy, as many of the long-termers do, you would know how deadly serious he was when he made that statement. This was our first clue that this particular QP period would be of major proportions and vital to the future of DCI and all of its shareholders. Collectively, those of us that have kept constant contact with DCI on a regular basis have backed off in regards to calling on a regular basis. We felt that it was vital that we give Mr. Murphy and his entire management team all the room and time they needed. Personally, I have not spoken to Mr. Murphy for almost two weeks. Those that have spoken to him in that interim have only taken a few minutes of his time. One thing we all agree on is the fact that this has been played as "tight to the vest" as humanly possible. We also agree that given the length of the QP that it is a multi-faceted deal that involves multiple companies. Who, What, When, Why, & How?????????? These are the $64,000 questions. The only one I feel that I THINK I can answer is WHEN! I do feel it will be this week but you never know for sure given the possibility that several teams of lawyers representing multiple companies could be involved. Many of us have really ridden the roller coaster over the years and have not wavered in our belief of management. For the last several months all of DCI's management team have worked a tremendous amount of overtime hours as well as having to do extensive traveling. Going back many years I can honestly say that I have never been involved with ANY company that has been so responsive to their individual shareholders. Mr. Murphy does not differentiate by the number of shares that you own. I have personally spoken to a multitude of people over the last few years that have personally spoken to Mr. Murphy and others in management. Some own very small positions but all have one thing in common. They all came away with the feeling that management cares as much about them as they do for those with large positions. We are all considered family and I wish more companies could be as open and accessible to their shareholders as DCI. If I were to use some horse racing analogy I would say the following. We are racing down the back stretch. The end of the QP should propel us around that final turn and we, the riders, will get our first glimpse at the finish line. Yes, I will say it one more time. Being positioned and keeping that patience as we see spurts of volatility will richly reward you when we all cross that finish line. It is not too late to enter your horse in this race at these prices. Great fundamentals will eventually take us to the winner's circle. If I were to speculate I would say that this could very well be one of the most exciting weeks in the history of DCI and will give us a much clearer picture as to what we all have been praying for as an end result. HERE'S TO A GREAT WEEK OF THAT GOOD OL' "ROCK N' ROLL"!!!!!!!! "Grupo Brad de Original P & P Man"
