whats a covered call? I noticed the option on dlj, but I'm very new to the subject of margin accounts. I just got mine.
Thanks,
Glenn

I have buy to cover, sell, sell short.
I don't have sell covered.
I don't know what buy to cover means either.
I also can sell not in account, which i don't understand either.
I have been playing rather conservative, only in cash so far.
I did one margin buy for a couple of hours Friday to test it out.
I guess I'll have to call them to find out all of the rules.
Appreciate any advice the thread has to offer.
Thanks Paul,
Glenn
