Antoine, I don't get what your post references. Did you link it to the wrong post? I can't see anything Mike said that could be interpreted as making light of the human cost of the Asian crisis.

FWIW, I think sometimes he just reads what is posted to him, and doesn't always scan every post, so he may miss things, although clearly sometimes he scans every post.
