Oh the reason I got it is to allow me to day trade.
I actually don't buy on margin. I sell then buy repeatedly.
You can't do that in a cash account. A cash account means the transaction has to clear before its cash again.

So I have the freedom to change my mind during the day now. The advantage for me here is I don't have to hold a stock as long if its going down.
