A Real Sleeper Jim read the above link as MIDL is still a tradable security and believe it's best to call your broker for spicifics on how to handle the loss. Thanks. Encouraging, at least we have not been abandoned. With El Nino and other farm crop factors, including a lack of timely harvest labor and greatly reduced prices, which is better: Chapter 7 or 13? I certainly would make every effort to repay. Still awaiting God's help on MIDL but God also expects us to be prepared to the best of our abilities and to give thanks in all things good or "bad". Eternity is more important. I am getting my olives pruned real cheap....I work for for .25 an hour all year. Actually I work just for room and board. Other farm crops and prices have been bad almost everywhere in the USA. Life is still great fun...most of the time, until one thinks of unpaid bills ahead. "So what else is new in farming?" After 56+ years...just a bad habit? But the exercise sure keeps one healthy and lots of fresh air. I have to laugh at life and especially at myself as I close this, things are great, joy in the heart, with God on our side and I need all of the help that I can get.
