I have no data other then what tax loss selling did to ASND when I owned it at $46 and the market took it to $23 after being there earlier in the 4th Qtr of 1997.

This sector is hot! That alone could keep MRVC at its current levels or better. What ultimately drove ASND up was the change in CFO, and the delivery in January, 1998 of on projection earnings.

My point is MRVC is in the same boat this year as ASND was last year from what I see. Earnings will be in January, 1999. Stock value losses heavy in Q's 3 and 4 of this year. So tax selling seems likely, IMHO.

I am not arguing against the merits of the company. I think they have some interesting products and the company is in the process of a turnaround. The question, as a potential buyer, is when will the street see the turnaround, and when to buy.

I wish you the best with your investments, (-8 Dennis 8-)

" CDA/Spectrum says that as of
10/31/98, 133 institutions owned 37.7% of MRVC. However, when looking at individual fund
ownership much of the data is as reported as of June '98. Does anyone have a source for more
up-to-date fund ownership?"

Quicken says 28% and 104 institutional shareholders:
