There were apparently some after hours late trades in the 8s and 9s quote.com but they are meaningless as to Monday's open.

A Nasdaq execution is required by Nasdaq to be reported within 90 seconds. If it is not, it must be reported after 4 pm, no matter when the trade was executed during the day. This is known as a "late trade".

Kendall -- I think what he saw was late orders (entered earlier in the day) that were entered after close. I know that MMs on NAVR were doing manual order entry on Friday -- according to the E*Trade broker I spoke to. With volume gazillions higher than usual, and probably a skeleton crew because of the holiday, I suspect they didn't get all orders back-entered until early Saturday morning. Just my supposition on the latter point. Prosperous Trading! jb
