Wang- Human evolution has seen great leap forward in 'time frame' of progression, take like neural arrangements and size of human brain we have nearly 12 billion of them, the reason our brain mass is bigger than other primates is because of our speaking ability otherwise for motor control we could have done with 1/4 size of our brain, the birth of a child to growing up period where a human child is at an evident disadvantage to primates since it takes much more for a human child to stand on his own feet's and have much higher degree of dependency which helps the social bondage and peer respect as the child establishes permanent bondage's and respect for his elders which is not seen in chimps, all this refinement of shape and size of brain took from early Homo's to Neanderthal man 2 million years, but once refinement process movement of larynx to its right position was achieved we really moved fast the gaps of two million years is huge in our search for our origins but it is only 200,000 years that we can find some traces of cave paintings and only 10,000 years that we have seen domestication of a dog and 5000 years that Indus valley civilization, Nile river and Mesopotamian civilization sprung up all of a sudden, evidence of man's greatest invention wheel finds it origin to not a very distant past but within these nearly recorded events in history the control of horse through stirrups is another factor, it was only 1500 years BC that Hummurabi gave his draconian laws- prehistoric and recorded history shows the exponential growth as new inventions opened new vistas and horizons.. Lets go fast forward the age from 1000 AD to now we have seen the growth taking off from one century to other we have really seen progress multiplying, I may go on and on but since 60's the kind of progress we have seen may finally be the harbinger of new break through, I think that once 12 billion new connections which are equal to our neural connections are made we will as human beings move up to next cycle of human consciousness-- I have a different dream and I see it coming true through the internets and INTC's of tomorrow may be it is because of this my interest in human development and its association with new higher level of achievements I never like to short INTC and never liked when someone said INTC will be in 50's like Mr Kurlack- I think the new 1000 mhz and higher will bring your and my dream closer this is how human's have defied extinction they are or we are here because we earned our existence in face of worst of adversity, now where does Kurlack comes on anthropology-- this is Ike as maverick just overlook it I thought just to make it on topic post instead of off topic.. thanks Wang your posts were very potent I have your points in back of my mind and I will try to keep a dialogue to learn further the issues very nicely made..
