As a regular reader of thestreet.com I agree with the writer that we are in the hype phase in the internet sector. The key phrase in his article is:

"How long this will go on I cannot say. A day? A month? A year?"

The reality is that the e-commerce phase most likely has further to go. Just ask people who bailed out early on BAMM or MALL how they feel. What is crucial is that people understand the risks and one quick read of the NAVr board on Yahoo indicates they do not.

By the way, in the interest of full disclosure, are you short?
