Funk...what!

The answers I have gotten sound like they are from some kid who's mommy said..."tell them your sorry and it will be OK".

Bullshit..it's not OK...how do you open branch offices without being ready for every conceivable problem your client may face? "I'm trying harder". What compliance officer would allow an office to operate with this half-assed answer. What responsibility is taken by the principal of these branches? Incomplete and wrong answers are reason for money lost. ANd all I hear is "we were not set up for that yet".

Putnam got on Silicon Investors for a reason, and that was that the truth is costing him and his branch offices business.

I feel bad for some of the day traders who have had to learn some hard lessons about Terra Nova and branch office behavior prior to my posts. They did not have the good fortune to read the truth prior to opening their account and getting burned.

I guess when Funk started out daytrading you needed MBT to hold your hand. That may be fine for you. For people who do not need their hand held, saving 50% on commissions at JPR is a lot of money over the course of a year, especially when you trade actively. Even Cyberbroker fees are a better deal; was it not Funk who said he mainly uses Island in a prior post. You should at least tell your heroes at MBT and Terra Nova to give you a credit toward your commission when you add liquidity to the Island book like Cyberbroker.

Since you are so happy with Putnam, I have a great idea. Leave your account open at MBT and make one trade a day in it. That way MBT can hold your hand. Then open an account with Terra Nova and do all your active trading there, and I bet your new hero, Putnam, will even let you talk to him on the phone now that you are his new client!

Remember Clinton saying no, he did not have sex with Monica. If he had Jerry around, Jerry would have done a great job at saying it for him. He already has great practice at it when he posted, no, no, no, Terra Nova does not do any proprietary trading and has not done any proprietary trading in the past. Let him put that statement up on a Archipelago ECN web site! I forgot, Archipelago does not have a web site like the Island.
