Tips For Using The Final Frontier Trading Room: Once you are using Mirc there are a few tips that will make the experience that much more enjoyable and useful for you. Post Stock Orders: Feel free to share your trades including price. To post stock orders live, simply use /ME buys/sells XYZ @ XY. ex: /ME buys PPOD @ 8 5/8 (price is optional...timing is everything!) Pasting: We encourage all traders to post relevant information to #The_final_frontier (market stats, news,article highlights) . Here's how to do this from most Windows applications: Highlight target text(20 lines max) Press CONTROL + C (to copy text in clipboard) Switch to channel Press CONTROL + V (to paste text in channel) Reduce Noise: Click on FILE/OPTIONS/IRC SWITCHES, disengage all options in the "Show" column except: "notices in active window / Topic in channel / Whois in active window". Highlight Specifid User Text: Click on FILE/OPTIONS, click "nick" button. Type the nicknames of the traders you wish to see in highlighted color. Use the TOOLS/COLOURS section to choose the highlighted color you wish to use. Ignore Users: The /ignore <nick> option blocks all incoming text from a specific nick.
