Yes Penni, the kids know. Our parents however don't. Not yet anyway, Kerrie has had three miscarriages in the past and we didn't want to go through having to tell them we lost the baby again. Sometimes I think that was the most difficult thing for her to do. I believe we are past the danger zone, so I told you on DAR first! :-)

Yes, kids view of marriage is a tough one to deal with. Why we would think that anyone who lives with another person for as long as a married couple does would have no issues and conflicts is pretty ridiculous. The best advice I ever got before marriage was..."Make sure you like talking to her, because you are going to be talking to her every day for the rest of your life". The rest of it all really takes care of itself if you can meet that friendship requirement.

Marriage encounter was a bit uncomfortable at first. Especially with a bunch of strangers. But I believe I learned as much from them as I did from the instructor. I've heard the important thing is to attend one with only a few couples. Sometimes they try and hustle hundreds of couples through in only a couple of days. They really do a disservice on those types.

By the way it was completely free! A benefit from the on-base church and taxpayers. It seems they are trying some unconventional methods in order to slow the divorce rate of the highest profession in the world, namely submariners. Thanks ALL! :-)

p.s. Tell Dan real men eat Kiche and go to marriage enrichment classes. :-)
