If you have a Stop-Loss order in place, and a stock OPENS with a large gap down UNDER your price, does that represent a trigger at the open price?

i'm far from being nervous mrs.cleaver...i plan on day trading these stocks to death.....a point or two here and there and close the day 100% cash will suit me just fine
