Spider,

There is really only one major indicator of bearishness, and that is the one pointed out by the author of the article: overvaluations.

I can give you a number of other non-bearish indicators, including my favorite, the total new dollars coming into the equities market, either through mutual funds and other institutional sources, or directly into stocks by small individual investors. At some point though, as (I think) the author is trying to point out, all stocks return to their valuations based upon fundamentals. The author is trying to point out that (in his opinion) the lack of fundamentals will eventually catch up with these high-flying stocks, including the so-called internuts.
