I have done the same. I no longer hold any Oil and Gas stocks. I believe there will be an opportunity in the future (say 5 to 10 months) were things will look so bad, that it will be time to nibble. I don't think the current market environment for these stocks completely reflect the dismal fundamentals (in other words, the low crude prices and the strong possibility that crude will continue to head lower). If oil prices level off or reverse up, I will restart my DD on this sector.

Best regards,
Michael

PuddleGlum, hello

As you have a Dickensonian bent, have a look at British Gas PLC, traded on NYSE as BRG.

Not bad performance in these trying times. Market cap. about half of Chevron's size - you reckon this could be takeover meat?

please sir.....I want....more.
