Yarg.... according to EP and EM one reason that the dividend was established was because a number of fund managers, especially in foreign countries aren't allowed to buy a stock unless it has a dividend. So it was an effort to get the shares into more hands. Dwod

Targnad: What insider sales? There have been hardly any lately - just a couple of 25,000 blocks by relatively low-ranking officers. But there has been a notification of an insider buy of 65,000 last week.

Re Dividend.

I think it must cost them more to process paying the dividend rather than the dividend itself. I think they only did it so as to try to increase the stock price by becoming eligible amongst funds that only buy stocks that pay a dividend. IMHO, the dividend is a joke.
