The article probably doesn't come up because the site gets attacked. One point of the (late) fetal death statistic, as I stated, is that "fetal extraction" is sometimes a necessary procedure, though not a pleasant one to contemplate. Another point is that fetal deaths from other causes far outnumber abortions after the 24th week, but I don't see much advocacy on better prenatal care from "right to life" organizations.

As to the 1,359,145 fetal deaths due to abortion, that statement seems to put you in an absolutist position on the issue, K's "furthest extreme" as in www2.techstocks.com . About 90% of abortions are in the first trimester. You can discuss the issue of absolutism and whether this is represents the "furthest extreme" with him or other alleged "moderates" on abortion like Michael Cummings if you want, I wouldn't want to engage in "fear mongering". I will note that an absolutist position is probably not a political winner, though from what I read the moral reformation wing of the Republican party wants to push it as a core issue anyway.
