Mohan,

For ECHO all I can go by is the initial activity on Friday. It gapped up and sat for about 45 mins. of heavy buying and took off. Panic buying like we're seeing on the internet issues here is a very rare event and there is no tried and true methodology to maximize everything on it. If you decide to participate in ECHO my best advice would be to work your way in with part of what you plan to commit and add, subtract or whatever as you are able to monitor the activity. If it's going to do what I expect, trying to shave 1/16 or 1/8 here or there might get you left behind. One suggestion posted on my thread for stocks in runaway mode is to place a limit order slightly above the "current" price instead of a market order. Market orders are placed in a queue and by the time yours got to the front, the price may be much higher than you were prepared for. You may want to place a string of them within a range you are comfortable with .
I think we're all in here by the seat of our pants so...get a good grip.
