SIMPLY PUT!!
The experts agree that with any e-commerce business the key is creating brand awareness. If you can educate people to come to your site then you are ahead of the competition. If nobody knows about your web site then you can give stuff away for free and nothing ever ships. NM does own the domain Everything 4 Less and CD runs the business through netmarket, BUT NM can move E4L.com at any time it wants. If they train people to go to E4L then that is the brand loyalty needed for e-commerce. So the argument over who own or controls E4L is meaningless because at some point NM can do what ever it wants with Everything 4 Less.com. After Spending $100 mil on promoting the site they are not going to give it away.

Someone over on Yahoo tonight reported that he'd heard that NM is going to announce a new e-commerce business site tomorrow. (poster dp303) I did a search and checked the poster's old posts and, interestingly enough, he wrote on October 21 that Barr labs was about to go from 30 to 35 the next day on good earnings or some good news (I don't remember exactly) so I went to www.bigcharts.com and Barr labs (BRL) did jump on tremendous volume that next day up to 37. Apparently, the guy gets this info from his broker.
I don't know... could be an interesting week...
