Michelle, I played DCLK shortly after its IPO and ave been intrigued by the company for some time. It would seem to me that they definitely will be around for a little while, and could conceivably reamin a decent investment over time if their technology remains good. I am no technology expert, but the premise of setting the banner ads seems like it could have legs over the long term. BAMM surprises me, and I wonder if it is better than CDNW or AMZN. CDNW seems to have good PR and exposure here. I have seen deals for getting $50 from CD Now if you buy a modem this Christmas season and the like. PTVL is linked up with Netscape/AOL, is roughly a half of its 52-week high, and has a target of $66 from Robbie Stephens. The reason I find the price target even remotely interesting is the targets they had for AOL, EBAY, and ONSL. I think they targeted ONSL at 32. Others I would look at more than PTVL and BAMM are the twenty listed in Cramer's basket announced last week. All of those stocks made massive jumps, including OMKT and BVSN, which some friends played to their joy on Thursday/Friday. The stocks listed in that basket seemed to perform substantially better than the others without exception. Bottom line though, is I think the home runs have been hit--the shorts have had three days of butchering. I realize that it can go on, but I like PTVL here for a small run. I bought a small amount on Friday, and will add in the morning if I can get in under 26-27. But nothing on the scale of my ONSL purchase 2 weeks ago. No need to be greedy anymore. Just going for a couple of singles before the bubble bursts, which I think will occur near the end of the Christmas season. DISCLAIMER--All opinion, and no fundamentals considered. Hope this helps. Regards, G
