Tiger,
GRIN doesn't have any ownership of Hasbro, the manufacturer,
'only' the exclusive Canadian distribution agreements. GRIN's
average net profit margin is 4.1% of their sales and I used this
to get some idea of the value of Furby to GRIN (see message#9).
The first dozen or so messages on this thread give quite a good
though brief intro to GRIN and might be worth a step through. The
Yahoo site gives you access to their quarterlies and annual reports
if you have the time.
Looks to me that Furby will bring a substantial boost to GRIN's
earnings, apart from the Furby hype which at least raises their
visibility.
I've been an investor in GRIN for over a year now but the recent
opportunities in the stock have been too much for me to keep it
a secret !
